Disneyland Hotel rooms, suites and interconnecting rooms - Disneyland Paris
Introduction
The Disneyland Hotel offers a variety of rooms for its guests and they fall into 2 distinct groups: Standard and Castle Club.
All of the Standard rooms are spread out on the ground floor and first floor of the hotel. All of the Castle Club rooms and suites (with the notable exception of the Junior Suites) are in the central part of the hotel on the upper 2 floors. Whilst the Junior Suites are in the East and West wings of the hotel they still provide their residents with access to the Castle Club and its facilities.
Views
There are various views on offer including the Disneyland Park, the Fantasia Gardens and the Studios. If you can afford a room with a view of the Disneyland Park and there's one available then book it! Being able to have that view "on tap" is priceless especially if you're there over the summer while the fireworks are scheduled.
Standard Rooms
These rooms are spacious without being huge, decorated in pastel colours, they're very clean and extremely comfortable. The attention to detail is marvellous with Tinker Bell bed spreads and the Seven Dwarfs carved on the mirrors in the bathroom.
Standard rooms accommodate up to 4 people.
You have a choice of one Queen bed with a sofa in the sitting area or two Queen beds without a sofa in the sitting area but you still get a table and some chairs.
Obviously you can't live without a bathroom, plenty of wardrobe space, a hairdryer, a telephone, a television (showing international and Disney channels), a radio, air conditioning, a mini bar, a good sized safe and 24-hour room service so these are provided too.
The provision of tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms seems to be a bit hit and miss. I've never had them and always taken my travel kettle but lots of people have told me that they've been installed in their rooms.
There's a bit of spare room in the mini bar to put in your own items but the mini bars are fitted with sensors that are linked up to the hotel's automatic billing system. This hasn't deterred me from taking out their items and put them on the table in order to put my stuff in. The staff don't mind if you do this but you do need to be a little vigilant while checking your final bill!
Some ground floor rooms have a patio and some 1st floor rooms have a small balcony.
These rooms also come with Fastpass tickets for each guest.
Standard Family Rooms
These are larger versions of the Standard Rooms to accommodate more than 4 people.
Interconnecting Rooms - Standard and Castle Club
These are available on request at the time of booking. If you want a couple of interconnecting rooms then my advice (from experience) is to book direct with Disneyland Paris over the phone and then remind them a week before arrival.
At the time of booking they will tell you that it's only a request and can't be guaranteed but they've not let me down yet!
Castle Club Rooms
The Castle Club rooms are similar in size and facilities to those of the Standard Rooms however they do have a few extras like a DVD player (which does play English DVDs). You also receive a complimentary turn down service during which they'll turn down your beds, tidy your room, freshen the towels and leave chocolates on your pillows along with tomorrow's weather forecast.
I've always received a gift of some kind in the form of a complimentary bottle of champagne, cuddly toys for the kids, chocolates and long stemmed roses.
Junior Suites
The Junior Suites (58mē) sleep 2-4 people and I know for sure that they are available to have with an interconnecting room.
However, all Junior Suites are not actually located on the Castle Club floors - these are the only suites to be located outside the Castle Club. Instead they are located in the East and West wings of the lower floors of the hotel. This is quite a walk to the Castle Club lift but this is mentioned in all of the hotel's information. Whilst these suites are not located up in the Castle Club floors guests do still have access to the Castle Club and its services.
On the plus side the Junior Suites are big and do have a separate living room and bedroom that are separated by a set of double doors. The sofa in the living room is a sofa bed that's made up during the evening turn down service.
The layout of these suites is very similar to the Tinker Bell Suite except the Tinker Bell suites have a more elaborate bathroom.

The Tinker Bell Suites (69mē) sleep 2-4 people and I know for sure that they are available to have with an interconnecting room.
These suites are similar in layout to the Junior Suites but they're much bigger and have a much more elaborate bathroom. Like the Junior Suites they also have a separate living room and bedroom that are separated by a set of double doors. The sofa in the living room is a sofa bed that's made up during the evening turn down service.
Walt's Apartment Suites
The Walt's Apartment Suites (84mē) sleep 2-4 people and I believe that there are only 4 Walt's Apartment Suites.
They have a separate living room and bedroom that are separated by a set of double doors. The sofa in the living room is a sofa bed that's made up during the evening turn down service.
The Cinderella Suite
The Cinderella Suite (112mē) is the second largest suite and is elegantly furnished in luxury with a four-poster king size bed and a whirlpool bath.
The Cinderella Suite has views of the Disneyland Park.
The Sleeping Beauty Suite
The Sleeping Beauty Suite (187mē) is the biggest and the most prestigious of the suites and is a lavish apartment complete with a four-poster bed, grand piano, whirl pool bath, kitchen, dining room, a working fire place and separate access for your security staff.
