Booking and Check In - Disneyland Hotel & Castle Club - Disneyland Paris
Booking a general reservation
Making a booking to stay at the Disneyland Hotel in Paris can either be done direct (online or on the phone) or through a travel agent including online agents like Expedia. If you book direct with Disneyland Paris over the phone you can ask questions to the agent as you go through the booking process which can't be done online and I find that a travel agent usually doesn't know the answers to my questions! Also, if you book over the phone you can make Advance Dinner Reservations (ADRs) at the time of booking so long as you're not booking too far ahead.

I have to say that I prefer to book direct over the phone. The reservations staff speak excellent English and are incredibly helpful. One time I called I wanted a last minute 4 night stay at the Disneyland Hotel and the agent searched every week in the summer holiday to find me 2 interconnecting rooms in the Castle Club. She emailed me my confirmation and I subsequently called/emailed her back a couple of times about a private pickup to/from Charles De Gaulle (CDG) airport.
The only part of the trip that I tend to book myself are the flights and for this I usually use Expedia. I fly direct from Manchester to CDG on the early morning flight and by lunchtime I've not only arrived but checked into the hotel and sat outside Casey's Corner on Main Street USA having a Hot Dog.
The Disney agents can also arrange travel (Train, Flight or Ferry) for you too.
Booking a Castle Club Room or Suite
The only way in which you can book a Castle Club room or a suite is to call Disneyland Paris direct or get a travel agent to do it for you. NB You cannot book a Castle Club room or suite online.
To book a Castle Club room or a suite direct with Disneyland Paris the number from the UK is: 08448 003 240 (UK national rate call).
Check in for Castle Club guests
When you arrive at the Disneyland Hotel you are asked your name by the bell-hop who then checks for your name on the register of arrivals. Usually it is noted that you're staying in the Castle Club but if it appears to have been overlooked (as it sometimes does) then mention it now because they will arrange for someone to escort you up to the Castle Club reception. You cannot make your own way up to the Castle Club at this stage because you need a special key card to activate the private lift! In the meantime your luggage is tagged and taken to your room once it's ready.
On arrival at the Castle Club you get checked in either in the Castle Club reception area or in the adjacent Castle Club Lounge depending on how busy they are. During check in you're given your park tickets and VIP Fastpasses along with an overview of the parks, amenities and restaurants. The adults are also given ID cards which you sign and can be used to charge anything to your room (they need a swipe of your credit/debit card for this).
During check in you can also make restaurant reservations - these can be changed or cancelled at any time. You then have another opportunity to leave smaller bags behind reception while you whiz off into the parks or you can go straight to your room if it's ready.
